Great classroom management benefits everybody – children, teachers, parents, and schools!
When teachers provide the appropriate structures to support growth and learning, children blossom as they learn, grow emotionally and begin to function as a member of a classroom community. This classroom management course will teach you how to engage children by first examining your own style of interaction and then providing information about child development, classroom strategies and applying them with your children. We include a worksheet to use as you take the course and handouts to help you put into practice what you’ll learn – including how to praise children effectively, how to set limits and transitions that teach as you move through out the day.
This course meets required pre-service training for new child care employees in the state of Texas and must be taken before working with children.
